In My Mailbox #21

As always, this meme is hosted by The Story Siren.
So, guess who had a great book week! Yep, yours truly indeed - see proof below!

I've been waiting for this re-release of Alexandra Potter's DO YOU COME HERE OFTEN? for months! Love the author, adore the cover, can't wait to read the book!

I loved Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin so I decided to get her other book, MEMOIRS OF A TEENAGE AMNESIAC, which sounds like a great read, albeit rather reminiscent of Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella (yay). Cute cover too!

And can I get a massive squuueeeeee for the ARC of HOUSE RULES by Jodi Picoult? :) Click here to see the front cover of the ARC. They're calling it her "most powerful novel yet" and I can't wait to see if it lives up to that hype. Ms Picoult is one of my favourite authors so you can imagine how excited I am about this, hehe. Due to my supersuper busy schedule, I sadly can't see myself reading it this year, but I'll definitely review it when it comes out in April 2010!

I've heard great things about WAKE by Lisa McMann so I decided to get a copy and see for myself if it's really as interesting as it sounds, hehe.

Hope everyone else had a great week too! :)

I asked for Wake from Santa so I hope I find it in my stocking on Christmas morning. Enjoy!

I loved Me and Mr Darcy by Alexandra Potter. I saw Do you Come Here often at the bookstore, maybe I buy it for myself as a Christmas present. :)

I will read Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin probably after I finish with the book I'm reading now. :)

Happy reading!

Wow!! Four great books! I'm kinda scared to read Jodi Picoult, I'm afraid her books will be too sad! That's awesome that you have the ARC!

:) Thank you, I love my books. I actually had the intention to have a book-blog when I first started it, but it turned out that I didn't and don't have the time for it and of course I don't think that my English is good enough either :). I'm kind of jealous that you have the time to read so much and write about it...
Nice edition of "Do you come here often" I have an old one, which looks boring in comparison..but it's still a good read though..at least, it's a lot better than "Me and Mr.Darcy"...

Weirdly enough, I'm reading "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac" at the moment - not liking it as much as "Elsewhere" so far, but we'll see...
