In My Mailbox #37 aka My mind is blown!

I've had an amaaaaazing awesome fantastic etc book week - check it out!

Yeah, I knoooow, I start happydancing just looking at that, but now let me break it down for you a little.

TRADED
The person responsible for making me The Happiest Girl on the Planet (that's how I felt when opened this package) is the amazing KRISTI from The Story Siren, who is also the host of IMM every week! So you must be thinking, "Giiirl, what did you trade *this* for, a million dollars or something?!" Surprisingly, no, just for a couple of random books!
Here's what happened: Kristi had an extra copy of The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May and June by Robin Benway (which I've been DYING to read since Audrey, Wait! was amazing) and so I asked her if she'd be willing to trade it for pretty much anything (I offered my soul/kidney/family), but the silly girl just mentioned a couple of books she liked, ha! So not only did she send me April, May & June (!!!), but she also included her ARC of The Girl with Mermaid Hair by Delia Ephron (which I've also been wanting to read) and a whooole bunch of amazing swag and a lovely handwritten card! No, seriously, how awesome is this?! I know, I know, I'm still squeeeeeeing! It was incredibly nice of Kristi to do something like this and I feel like I've won the book jackpot! :D So for the hundreth time, THANK YOU SO MUCH, KRISTI!

FOR REVIEW & WON

I loved Abby McDonald's previous two books (The Popularity Rules & Life Swap/Sophmore Switch) so I was very excited to get a copy of her newest YA novel for review from Candlewick Press - it's called BOYS, BEARS AND A SERIOUS PAIR OF HIKING BOOTS and it's out on April 13th!
From Penguin UK, I got a copy of SCANDALOUS by Martel Maxwell - this is her debut novel and it sounds fab, just my kind of thing! It comes out on April 15th!
A couple of weeks ago I won a copy of VERY VALENTINE by Adriana Trigiani on NOVELICIOUS (great site) and the book finally arrived, yay! Isn't it pretty? :)

BOUGHT

KATY CARTER WANTS A HERO by Ruth Saberton - This sounds great, pre-ordered it months ago and it finally arrived!
THE CALIFORNIA CLUB by Belinda Jones - I've never read anything by this author and apparently that's almost a crime if you're a chicklit fan so I thought I'd buy one of her books to see what the fuss is about and if she's really as great as she's rumoured to be! ;)
THE TRUE NAOMI STORY by A. M. Goldsher - I bought this one last weekend when I was in Sardinia. I was already holding three (overpriced) books in my hands, but I resisted the other two (for the time being, will deffo order them asap) and just bought this because it sounded cute.
THE NOT-SO-SECRET DIARY OF A CITY GIRL by Allie Spencer - Another goooorgeous Little Black Dress Book, yay!
THE DEBUTANTE by Kathleen Tessaro - I came across this book a few weeks ago and pre-ordered it immediately as it sounds absolutely fantastic, I'm really intrigued by the premise!
THE FOOL'S GIRL by Celia Rees - I loved Witch Child and Sorceress by this author so I couldn't resist her newest work, I've heard great things about it!
DREAMING OF AMELIA by Jaclyn Moriarty - Pre-ordered this one a while ago as I thought the plot sounded quite intriguing!
A HOLLYWOOD ENDING by Robyn Sisman - I fell in love with the hardback cover (the paperback one is horrible, ew) and I just had to have this book, it sounds so cute!

So yeah, that's it from me, phew!
Can't wait to see what everyone else got! :)

Wow, so many fab books! I finished The Fool's Girl last week (review coming next week) and I loved it! Witch Child is still my favourite, but I did really enjoy this one.

I think I'm going to order myself Katy Carter next week too, and Dreaming of Amelia's another on my wishlist. Enjoy!

Lots of fab books :) I think you'll enjoy Scandalous, I loved it! I, however, HATED Robyn Sisman's book with a passion, was so disappointed by it, hopefully you'll like it though! I'm looking forward to Ruth Saberton's book after Leah raved about it so much :) Great week! :) x

Wow, dazzling collection for a single IMM, congrats!! I can understand your joy :-D

I haven't read anything by Belinda Jones either yet, so please tell me how you like her. I've got On the Way to Mr. Right on my TBR pile, which not only sounds a very fun read, but I discovered is a true story of Belinda and her BFF!

I fell in love with the cover of Very Valentine, gorgeous, sophisticated and se feminine, love it!
The Fool's Girl looks intriguing too and I'd love to read A Hollywood Ending, seems like a nice romantic comfort read-kinda novel :-)

So have yourself a wonderful Easter weekend and happy reading (or just gazing at your fantastic new books)!

:-) Stella
