I admit I struggled to buy the left one because I really don't like the cover, but the story seems interesting plus it was quite cheap so I'll try to overlook the cover, eurgh. The right one is about the suffragettes (similar to this and this book) and since I'm very fascinated by them, I just couldn't resist this book and I really look forward to reading it, even if I'm not exactly in the target readers group, heh.

I can definitely see why that cover was a turn off...it just doesn't flow right. The story must sound pretty good though, since you were able to move past it. Happy reading!
You're right about the cover- it doesn't look right. I'm not really impressed with either cover, actually :P But Polly's March sounds interesting!

Chloe - yeah, my bf and I actually counted them the other day because I completely lost track of the unread books on my bookcase and it turns out I have about 130 and counting. It's quite scary actually and yet I keep buying new books, go figure. :)
