In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren.
I've had and I'm so excited to share it with you all! Here's a quick peek at what I got:
Yes, that's *35 books* altogether - pretty damn mindblowing, right? :) Now let's break that down a little and I'll explain everything. Sooo first we have these:
THE PUZZLE RING by Kate Forsyth - I'd like to thank both the author and Scholastic for sending me this book to review and giving me the chance to participate in the upcoming blog tour, I'm really excited about it, especially since the book sounds so promising!
FINDING MONSIEUR RIGHT by Muriel Zagha - Many thanks to Ebury Publishing for kindly sending me this book to review! I found out about it on Chicklitreviews.com and it sounds just my cup of tea, plus the cover's too cute for words! Cannot wait to read it!
A FRIEND OF THE FAMILY by Lauren Grodstein - I'd like to thank Random House for sending me this to review! It seems slightly different to what I usually read, but I'm rather intrigued by this one too after looking it up online and reading so much praise!
COMING HOME by Melanie Rose - The girls at Chicklitreviews.com loved the author's debut as well as this follow up, which sounds really good so I just bought it to check it out for myself. :)
OUT OF THE BLUE by Val Rutt - I decided to buy a copy of this one after reading a lovely review & interview with the author over at Wondrous Reads.
THE MARK by Jen Nadol & THE SECRET YEAR by Jennifer Hubbard - These very popular YA debuts are pretty self-explanatory so I'll just add that I'm so happy that my copies finally arrived and that I can't wait to read them since both sound great, obviously. :)
And now we come to the big shebang, tada tadaaaa! Some of you may remember that I posted something about how I was desperately seeking the Making Out series? Well, the wonderful and amazing LUISA PLAJA, the editor at Chicklish and the author of Split by a Kiss & Extreme Kissing & the upcoming Swapped by a Kiss, then came up with a wonderful idea how I could get these books too and so now they're finally here! *does happy dance*
Finally owning the whole collection is like a dream come true so I'd like to take this opportunity and give MASSIVE THANKS TO LUISA PLAJA for so kindly helping me out with this Important Project, it's something that I've been wanting to have for over a decade, lol!
So I guess all I can say is yaaay, me iz a happy bunny now!
Was your week equally amazing? :)

Happy Sunday!
So jealous of the entire series of Making Out!
If there is ANY chance you can do a post at some point summing up what happened over the whole series, please do. I really wanted to know how it all played out!
Thanks, everyone!
And P - I was definitely planning to do that! Under a spoiler cut obviously, but I'm planning to read the whole collection (eventually) and summarizing each book so look out for that, hopefully in 2010. :)))
I can't wait to read your summary! We should start a fan club. :)
Haha, Luisa, I think you and I already have in our emails, just unofficially! I'll start one in my future post about the series! And ooooh, I keep staring at the books, I'm soooo tempted to start reading them, but before that I still have to finish my proof-reading today. Twentyish pages to go, then quickly check everything and then I'll just SEND it. Cannot wait!
Fantastic - congratulations! In the meantime, keep admiring those books! :)

Whoa that's truly a big bunch of books! I've not heard of this series before...but don't let that stop you from enjoying them! :)
Hi,
I've just come across your blog and I recall the Making Out series too and was wondering how you managed to get your hands on the books?
Hey, Sentimental Geek - thanks for stopping by! I actually bought the whole series on Amazon Marketplace (used copies). They're quite cheap. You can find them e.g. here or you can run a similar search on Amazon US (depending where you're from), and then just click on "Used" or "New" and you can order them. :) Hope this helps!
Hi again,
I just wanted to share my excitement with you as I managed to win an auction on Ebay for the whole of the 'Making Out'series and they arrived today!I can't wait to delve into them!
Yay, congrats on your win and happy reading! :D
